Windows Vs. Android OS

From Microsoft Corporation, Windows 8 is the latest version.

From Google, Android V2.3 is the latest version of the operating system. It is a Linux based operating system for mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet computers.

Here is an in-general comparison between the two operating systems for our mobile applications developers:
> Connectivity.. both support cellular (GSM) as well as wireless (CDMA) connectivity options
> Flash.. Windows phones initially didn’t support Flash, but now they do. Whereas – in case of Android phones, they will soon be coming up with the Flash support
> Office productivity suite.. Windows has Microsoft Office 2010 Mobile, where as Windows has Google Docs
> Email access.. Windows phones as Outlook Mobile, where as Android has Gmail App
> Applications available.. very few in case of Windows phones, where as Android phones are famous for their applications. The estimated number reaches to 25,000+.
> Default Browser.. Windows has Internet Explorer, and Android has Google Chrome
> Music Store.. Windows have their own (Zune), where as Android support third party stores only

Thus, this was just a simple attempt to compare both the rampant operating systems in case of mobile devices.
